Studio 96 Edmonton Wedding – The One With the Bride Fight 🥊💐

Okay okay okay... this wedding? ICONIC. We’re talking September sunshine, one of the coolest venues in Edmonton (Studio 96, obviously), a bridal party that came ready to play, and a groom who was basically running a small casino with his 50/50 draw. I said what I said.

Studio 96: The Main Character ✨

Let’s be real, Studio 96 is that venue. She’s got the huge glass windows, the moody historic vibes, the high ceilings that scream “yes, we are dramatic and timeless, thank you very much.” If Studio 96 were a person, she’d be the effortlessly cool cousin who shows up in a perfectly thrifted outfit while the rest of us are still trying to find matching socks.

And as an Edmonton wedding photographer? Yeah… this place makes me look good. Every corner is like, “Oh, you wanted a jaw-dropping backdrop? Here you go, babe.”

Edmonton River Valley Shenanigans 🌞

After the big “I do,” we ran down to the Edmonton River Valley for bridal party photos. Afternoon sun, wide open skies, and a whole crew of people hyping each other like their job depended on it. Pure serotonin.

And then—plot twist—we ran into another bridal party. Cue the showdown. Two brides, bouquets raised like weapons, locked eyes across the grass. Was it love? Was it war? Who’s to say. All I know is I was living for the drama and furiously clicking my shutter like paparazzi at the Met Gala.

Tears, Laughs, Repeat 😭🤣

The ceremony at Studio 96? Gorgeous. Heartfelt. The kind of love-fest that makes you forget how badly your shoes are rubbing your heels. But the speeches? Ohhhh honey. One minute you’re laughing so hard your stomach hurts, the next you’re sobbing into your dinner roll. It was an emotional rollercoaster and I was HERE for it.

The Groom’s 50/50 Hustle 🎟️

Listen. This groom wasn’t just excited about his 50/50 raffle. He was out here running it like a full-time job. Did people even have a choice? Absolutely not. Everyone paid in, everyone played along, and when the winner was announced? Let’s just say, the man celebrated like he’d just won the Stanley Cup. Absolute legend.

Final Thoughts 💭

So here’s the tea: if you want a wedding that’s equal parts heartfelt and unhinged (in the best way), you need to put Studio 96 in Edmonton on your list. Gorgeous venue, epic photo spots in the River Valley, and the kind of memories you’ll be laughing about for years.

And if you need an Edmonton wedding photographer who’s ready to document your tears, your dance moves, and maybe even your own bouquet brawl? You know where to find me. 😉
